"I God, will......"

“Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them”. (Ezek 36:25-27)

“Then I will….”
God, the Almighty takes full responsibility in
- Sprinkling clean water on us
- Cleansing us from our filthiness and idols
- Giving us a new heart and spirit within
- Taking out our heart of stone and giving us a heart of flesh
- Putting His Spirit within us, and causing us to walk in His statutes.
“You shall be CLEAN…..”

Clean: (Taher [Hebrew]). To be physically cleansed off disease, to be morally clean, to be ceremonially clean. To be unadulterated, Levitically uncontaminated, morally innocent

Filthiness: (Tumah). Sexual uncleanness, ethical and religious uncleanness. Ritually unclean.
(The dirty state of being that results from sexual promiscuity, the fractured state of a flawed character, attitude or lifestyle. And being unacceptable in a religious setting, and unworthy and unqualified to serve)

Heart: (Leb). Inner man, mind, will, understanding.
(A new identity of self inside, a new way of thinking and reflection, a new inclination, resolution and determination. New conscience, moral character).

A paraphrase of the above scripture based on the original transliteration could be something like this:

“Then I, God will scatter abundantly on you pure water, and you will become physically cleansed of disease, purified morally, and ceremonially clean to be acceptable and be of service. You will be purified from being dirty as a result of your sexual indulgences, your flawed character and lifestyle, and being unacceptable to be used. You will be cleansed from the ownership of things you had given yourself in utmost devotion and surrendering to.
I God, will bestow and deposit in you a new identity within, a new mindset, a new way of processing and resolution, and a new disposition. I will take personal responsibility in changing your stubbornness and rebellion into submission and obedience. You will become more flexible to accept the change I initiate in you. And most of all, I will put myself in you, my very Spirit, to influence the very core of your thought and emotion. And He will enable you to proceed in life, and live according to what I prescribe, and you will observe and live by all my expectations of you”
