A Prayer of Psalm 91

Psalm 91 is a powerful psalm, a prayer of deliverance, beckoning to God for his help in times of trials and pending issues. So I simply changed the pronouns to present it as our prayer to God. You can print it out and post it somewhere accessible to pray in times of need.

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” For he will deliver me from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover me with his pinions, and under his wings I will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
I will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand may fall at my side, ten thousand at my right hand, but it will not come near me. I will only look with my eyes and see the recompense of the wicked.
Because I have made the Lord my dwelling place— the Most High, who is King David’s refuge no evil shall be allowed to befall me, no plague come near my tent. For he will command his angels concerning me to guard me in all my ways. On their hands they will bear me up, lest I strike my foot against a stone. I will tread on the lion and the adder; the young lion and the serpent I will trample underfoot.

“Because you hold fast to me in love, I will deliver you; I will protect you, because you know my name” says the Lord. “When you call to me, I will answer you; I will be with you in trouble; I will rescue you and honor you. With long life I will satisfy you and show you my salvation.”

May God honor the prayer of his word in our lives in Jesus name. Amen
