The Anointing for Speed

According to the scripture (1 Kings 18:46), the hand of God came upon Elijah and endowed him with the ability to outrun Ahab's chariot for approximately 20 miles (32.2 kilometers).

The king's chariot was the most luxurious and sophisticated vehicle of speed in that time period, with the most horsepower for momentum. Contextually speaking, it would be comparable to a luxuriously customized Escalade for Presidents and Heads of State. Imagine a prophet outrunning an Escalade on the highway going 80 miles (129 kilometers) an hour!!

There is an enablement from God that can endow speed to overcome the limitations of space and even time. A luxuriously customized Escalade for world leaders symbolizes Wealth, Luxury, Privilege, Power, Social Status, Pedigree, etc. The benefits attainable by all these were overshadowed by the Hand of God on Elijah - a man in the Old Covenant. How much more we who are of the dispensation of the New Covenant, with the indwelling of God, His Presence and Glory in us? We can supernaturally overcome the limitations of space and time! Feats that require years to accomplish are attained in days and weeks; results that should require a lengthy protocol be completed seamlessly and effortlessly. Things attainable and achievable only by having power, uber wealth, and privilege, are suddenly accessible by the "speed anointing" at work. The Anointing for Speed can enable one to achieve supernatural results!!

Apostle Paul said to covet the best spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 12:31), so now that we know of this anointing, covet it! God has already promised to restore the wasted and lost years of our past (Joel 2:25). Receiving the unction of this anointing by faith is a heavenly enablement to transcend the limitations of space and time to get supernatural feats accomplished!
