Sunday June 15th, 2025 has marked a shift in my perception of self. I did not fully comprehend that I had a full quiver of arrows until I began receiving phone calls and messages from sons I had.
Fatherhood is beyond a liquid deposit. Being a spiritual, psychological, mental and emotional foundation and covering forges a legacy of fatherhood that is more relevant than passionate liquid spillage. Fathehood is also cemented by the ownership of this investment in identity formation and ensuing relationship.
I didnt fully realize who I was to my students, mentees and followers until I began getting messages on how my influence, counsel, rebuke and sometimes chastisement had molded sons in my bow full of quivers!
I encourage Mentors, Father Figures, Counselors, Teachers, Educators, etc who have filled the space of fathers in the lives of people. Own it! We need father's to own their role boldly, and allow God to continue to use you to influence, mold and shapen the next generation of fathers, and in the process, eradicate the scourge of the social issues created by a lack of positively influencing fathers.
June 2025 - I boldly own my bow full of quivers!
