Caterpillar vs Butterfly
Caterpillar is ugly; Butterfly is beautiful
One is slow, one is fast
One crawls, one flies
One lives to consume (self centered), one lives to pollinate (communal service)
Yet both are the same DNA. The butterfly is in the caterpillar. The butterfly can only exist when a metamorphosis (inner transformation) takes place.
Rom 12:2 talks about us being metamorphosized by the renewing of our minds in/with the Word through the Holy Spirit at work in us.
